Sabbath: The Economy of Heaven

The last in a two-sermon series on the Sabbath. This is about a little-understood aspect of the Sabbath. Often we focus on the personal benefits of the Sabbath, but there is a social and economic message that enriches the message of the Sabbath, and challenges us to live our lives differently all week long. It is not only about our personal experience, nor is it an arbitrary command to be followed, but the Sabbath has the power to transform the way we relate to each other across class-lines.
